Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. An agent for talent noticed her talents and urged her to make a profession as a model or actor. She dropped out of university after much deliberation to pursue a career in entertainment. She made her debut with the film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and found herself disappointed by her performance. In order to prove her worth her worth, she appeared in several low-budget movies to enhance her acting. This was no straightforward path for the actor however her determination and patience did not go unrewarded. In the film Training Day she gained fame and was praised by critics.
